Tabletop Exercise
Tabletop Exercises are a strategic and collaborative method employed to test an organisation’s preparedness for various major incidents, never events, and emergency scenarios
A Table Top Exercise (TTX) is a discussion-based exercise where an organisation can engage with internal and external stakeholders to discuss what actions they would take in a hypothetical situation. This includes the roles and responses required during an emergency, incident, and or other significant event, and explore who, what, where, when, why, and how people, systems, and processes will be employed or effected in those eventualities. This type of exercise is designed to test and evaluate an organisation’s business continuity and emergency preparedness, policies, and procedures in a safe environment.
When TTXs are lead by experienced professionals, not only does the exercise develop and run in a structured way, but the key events/points, decisions, and outcomes are all captured, allowing for key recommendations and an action plan to be provided post-exercise. These exercises are known to enhance the emergency preparedness of organisations and reduce the impact that genuine major incidents have on the businesses that have conducted regular testing.
Corps Intel can provide bespoke TTX scenarios, while providing subject matter expertise and advice ultimately steering an organisations responders to the best course of actions.
